Domestic abuse maybe physical or psychological and can include harassment or pestering. It may be inflicted on anyone in, or who has been in, a domestic relationship, such as a spouse, partner, or child.

We would discuss your needs and protection and whether an application should be made for an injunction to be ordered by the court. A non-molestation order prohibits the inflictor from coming near you and an occupation order can exclude the perpetrator from your home. Sometimes an application needs to be made on an emergency basis and it may be possible to attend court the same day, or the day after, we see you.
